TA74 Sandwich Board man

The sandwich board was a common sight in Victorian streets, and a well used form of advertising and promotion for products, shows and events.  

Our Sandwich board man is an ex-serviceman as can be seen by the stripe on his trousers.  We offer him with a selection of images for the sandwich board, original artwork by David Cowe;

• The Imperial Productions horse, seen outside the Greytown store for many years,
• an advertisement for an Operatic show,
• an advertisement for a Fortune Teller - reflecting the Victorian's obsession with the occult and spiritualism.
